Dr Martyn King is a GMC registered doctor and the Director of Cosmedic Skin Clinic, a highly successful, award winning private aesthetic clinic as well as Cosmedic Online, Cosmedic Pharmacy and the ACE Group. He is a recognised expert in the field of cosmetic medicine, national and international accredited trainer and he has published multiple articles in leading aesthetic journals. He is a respected conference speaker and demonstrator with experience at FACE, IMCAS, AMWC, CCR, ACE, Aesthetic Medicine Live, BCAM, BACN, JAN and BAS. He is the Chair of the Aesthetics Complications Expert Group, a member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine and Board member for the British Association of Sclerotherapists. He is the Key Opinion Leader and Brand Ambassador for several leading companies and undertakes training, workshops, seminars and studies on their behalf. He has completed a Masters Degree with Distinction in non-surgical aesthetic practice and won the Outstanding Achievement award in the Aesthetic Awards in 2019.

Botox®
For the treatment of forehead lines and around the eye
Botox® is a purified form of a specific neuromuscular blocking agent which acts by stopping the signal from the nerve to the muscle, thereby preventing the muscle from contracting, particularly on areas such as the forehead and between the eyebrows. It can also be used effectively to reduce excess sweating. After the procedure, you may experience slight redness and/or bruising. There will be no immediate effect upon your wrinkles but they should start to disappear over the next few days, with maximum effect 2-14 days later. Good results may be obtained after a single injection and usually last from 3-6 months or sometimes longer.

Dermal Fillers

As skin ages, there is natural loss of dermal collagen, hyaluronic acid and subcutaneous fat, which contribute to the characteristic contour changes in the facial profile and unwanted lines, folds and wrinkles. A minimally invasive procedure to reduce the signs of ageing is through the injection of dermal fillers which help restore volume, lift and firmness to the skin.

After treatment, your skin will look smoother and softer, resulting in a fresher and more youthful appearance. Results can vary according to a person’s lifestyle, age and how their skin is cared for, although in general, dermal fillers last for 6-12

Tear Trough

According to the Arcane Study, from the age of 30 years old, 1 in 2 women are concerned by the appearance of their eye circles yet it is only the 7th most popular area that is treated. The tear trough is the area beneath the eye and the upper cheek and with increasing age, the area loses volume and the skin becomes thinner and starts to droop. This results in the tear trough becoming deeper and darker in appearance and eye bags can start to appear. A similar problem can occur in younger people due to fat hypoplasia and genetic factors. Previously the only solution was plastic surgery, however with the advances in non-surgical treatments and dermal fillers, this area can now be completely rejuvenated by the injection of a filler material in suitable clients.
